52. I Want My Mummy Again

Today I have a simple update, merely a couple of new pictures.  After this exchange on The Miniatures Page, I found and purchased a can of Testor's Dullcote.  I then sprayed my Blue Moon Mummy figures again.  This is how they turned out.
Still looking formidable, After Dullcote.
Still scared, After Dullcote.
For reference purposes, this is Before Dullcote.
This is Before Dullcote.
I find them much more pleasing.

  1. Your figures are painted and "dulled" very nicely, Sir.

  2. Looking good!
Most of my figures get a good coating of glosscote for protection, and then a coat of dullcote to get rid of the sheen.

  3. Thanks, fellas. Fitz-Badger, that's exactly what I usually do, it's just that the "dullcote" I was using wasn't true Dullcote. Makes a big difference!
